Hyderabad: Cops bust drug party, arrest ‘Dhee’ choreographer Kanha Mahanthi
Party organised by noted architect Priyanka Reddy; cops arrested four individuals who attended the party
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police busted a drug party at a hotel and arrested choreographer Kanha Mahanthi in Madhapur, authorities said on Monday.
The party was organised by noted architect Priyanka Reddy, and Kanha Mahanthi, a well-known choreographer who earlier worked in popular TV shows such as ‘Dhee’ was among the attendees, according to the available information.
Madhapur police arrested four individuals including a female friend of Priyanka Reddy who attended the party and allegedly took drugs. In addition to MDMA, the authorities seized two other types of drugs.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the organisers had procured psychotropic substances from Bengaluru through courier parcels, to evade police in Hyderabad.
The Madhapur police are investigating the source of the drug and if there are any others who are involved in the drug party.
