Hyderabad court sentences man to life imprisonment for murdering wife
A Hyderabad court sentenced a 32-year-old man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife after a domestic quarrel in 2022. The convict assaulted, stabbed and strangled the victim. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 along with a default jail term.
Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday sentenced a 32-year-old man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife following a domestic quarrel in 2022.
The convict, M Santosh, a resident of Jiyaguda in Kulsumpura had brutally assaulted his wife, Saritha, stabbed her with a pair of scissors and strangled her to death. The case was registered based on a complaint by the victim’s elder sister at Kulsumpura police station.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000, with a three-month simple imprisonment in default of payment.
