A Hyderabad court sentenced a 32-year-old man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife after a domestic quarrel in 2022. The convict assaulted, stabbed and strangled the victim. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2,000 along with a default jail term.
The body of an unidentified man with his throat slit and stab wounds was found near Balapur lake in Chandrayangutta. Police suspect murder and are examining CCTV footage and investigating.
