According to the police, Gundla Raju (32), a painter from Addagutta in Secunderabad entered the house of one Renukumar Reddy at Balapur on Sunday. Reddy’s wife Prasanna, who was cooking, saw the intruder and alerted her husband.

“She rushed outside and tried to bolt the main door from outside, but Raju saw this and pushed her aside before running away,” police said, adding that he was nabbed on Monday evening.
