Hyderabad: On the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, temples across the city and suburbs termed with devotees on Thursday.

The Vaishnavite temples in particular had the devotees lining up for a darshan since early hours. At some temples, queues started to form as early as 3.30 am for Uttara Dwara Darshan despite the chilly weather conditions.

The places of worship were specially decorated and special pujas and rituals were performed on the occasion.

In view of the prevailing Covid pandemic, some of the bigger temples had placed restrictions on allowing devotees.
