Hyderabad: With the Strait of Hormuz expected to reopen following the recent US-Iran agreement to cease military operations, the pressing question for people of Hyderabad and other Indian urban cities is whether the de-escalation will finally translate into relief at the pumps for petrol, diesel and LPG prices.
For months, people in Hyderabad have watched with growing concern as fuel prices skyrocketed, driven by global supply chain disruptions, primarily due to the closure of Strait of Hormuz.
With reports confirming that the US and Iran have reached an understanding to terminate military actions, many in Hyderabad are now wondering if the fuel costs will be rolled back.
