Hyderabad Globe FC emerge champs in Independence Cup tourney

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Globe edged past Rampage Football Club 2-1 in the final to emerge champions in the Independence Cup, organized by Syed Hussain Abidi and Syed Akber Abidi, at MB Sports ground.
Madan put Globe ahead before Zaid equalized for Rampage. However, Shaik Umair scored the match-winner for Globe in the 60th minute of the game. Dronacharya awardee Syed Nayeemuddin gave away the prizes to the winners.
