Hyderabad: Golden chariot of Lord Subrahmanya Swamy inaugurated at Skandagiri temple
A grand spiritual event unfolded at the Sri Skandagiri Subrahmanya Swamy Temple in Padmarao Nagar, Hyderabad, where Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swami inaugurated the golden chariot of Lord Subrahmanya Swamy.
Hyderabad: On Friday, amid thousands of devotees, Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Sri Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi Swami inaugurated the golden chariot of Lord Subrahmanya Swamy at the Sri Skandagiri Subrahmanya Swamy Temple in Padmarao Nagar.
The chariot, created with donations from devotees, was the focus of rituals performed by Vedic scholars in accordance with scriptural traditions. Following the ceremonies, the golden chariot was taken around the Subrahmanya Swamy shrine in the main temple, attracting a large assembly of worshippers.
Skandagiri Temple Trust Chairman L.V. Subrahmanyam, trustee Krishnan Rajamani and former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju also participated in the event.
