Pawan Kalyan to lay foundation for TTD guest house in Kondagattu
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is set to construct a guest house and a hall at Kondagattu temple, with Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan laying the foundation stone.

Jagtial: Stage is all set for laying of a foundation stone for the construction of a guest house and a hall in Kondagattu by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will lay the foundation for developmental works on Saturday.
The Deputy CM will arrive at Kondagattu at 10.30 am and perform poojas in his favourite Anjaneyaswamy temple. Later, he will lay the foundation for developmental works to be taken up with Rs 30.19 crore by TTD.
TTD Chairman BR Naidu, AP legislative council whip Hariprasad and Choppadandi MLA Medipally Satyam will also participate in the programme. Later, Pawan Kalyan will organise a meeting with Telangana Jana Sena party workers in a resort in Kodimial.
On the other hand, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements for AP Deputy CM’s visit. Both collector Satya Prasad and Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar examined on Friday arrangements at the meeting venue, helipad, plaque and temple premises. Police officials have made security arrangements by deploying 1,200 police personnel.
It may be recalled here that after the alliance government came to power in AP Pawan Kalyan visited Kondagattu temple on June 29 since Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy is his favourite god. During his visit, temple authorities and priests brought to his notice that devotees were facing troubles due to lack of guest houses at the shrine.
They gave a representation to Pawan Kalyan requesting him to take initiative for the construction of a 100 rooms capacity guest house and 2000 seating capacity hall through TTD. He responded positively.
Temple priests and local MLA Medipally Satyam brought the issue to the notice of AP deputy CM on a few occasions.
In October, TTD engineering department officials visited the shrine and examined land in two places one is beside ghat road and another near JNTU engineering college.
Finally, the site located beside ghat road has been finalized.Within a fortnight, Kondagattu temple authorities allocated the land in survey no 362/1 for the construction of the guest house and hall and wrote a letter to TTD.
TTD, in its recent executive council meeting, passed a resolution for the construction of a guest house in Kondagattu by spending Rs 190 crore. On December 20, TTD executive engineer Narasimha Murthy and others examined the proposed land and informed that foundation would be laid for work very soon.
