Hyderabad: KL University receives ‘India World Record’
During the award function held on Friday, Vara Prasad appreciated efforts of parents and reiterated the role of teachers in shaping the future of students
Hyderabad: KL University has secured the ‘India World Record’ for conducting the event – SAMYAK-2021, a techno-management fest with more than one lakh students participating in the event.
The ‘India World Record’ was received by KL Deemed to be University, Vice-Chancellor Dr LSS Reddy from Indian Book of Records, honorary director & adjudicator, and Supreme Court advocate Dr GVNRSSS Vara Prasad, according to a press release.
During the award function held on Friday, Vara Prasad appreciated efforts of parents and reiterated the role of teachers in shaping the future of students.
As part of the fest, 217 events were held on March 19 and 20 with all Covid-19 precautionary measures, the KL University said, adding that the event was also the first of its kind to completely avoid the use of disposable plastics, thereby reducing carbon footprint. BlockChain technology based certificates were awarded to all the participants by DLT Labs, it added.
