Hyderabad Lake Police foil suicide bid of five women
All of them were counseled and handed over to their families
Hyderabad: In separate incidents, the Hyderabad Lake Police rescued five women who were allegedly attempting to die by suicide in the Hussain Sagar on Friday. In the first incident, a woman, reportedly an alcoholic, came to the lake to end her life, and was rescued by the lake patrolling staff.
In another incident, a woman, depressed over harassment from her alcoholic husband, was rescued by the patrol staff. In the third incident, a woman, who decided to end life after her fidelity was suspected by her husband, decided to end life and was rescued by the personnel.
Officials said, in another incident, a young woman depressed over love failure had come to the lake to die by suicide. In the fifth incident, a home maker decided to end her life in the lake over financial constraints.
All of them were counseled and handed over to their families.
