Hyderabad: An engineering post-graduation girl student was found hanging at the hostel in Hyderabad Central University on Monday evening. According to the police, the student Raghusala Mounika (27), a native of Peddapalli district, was pursuing M. Tech (Nano Science) second year course from the institution.

On Monday evening, Mounika was found hanging in her room in the ladies hostel in the HCU campus by her fellow students who immediately informed the warden. “The woman tied a bed sheet to window and hanged herself. A note purportedly written by her was found in the room in which she apologized to her parents for ending her life. No allegations were made against anyone,” said Ch Raghunandan Rao, ACP, Madhapur.

On information the Gachibowli police reached the spot. A case is registered by the police.
The police questioned the students in the hostel and are waiting for the family members to ascertain the reasons behind the woman ending her life.
