Hyderabad: Man dies after clash over Ganesh idol purchase in Pocharam
A 34-year-old man died allegedly after a clash between Ganesh idol buyers and sellers in Pocharam IT Corridor police limits. His relatives and friends later protested on the Warangal-Hyderabad National Highway, demanding stringent action against five alleged attackers.

Hyderabad: A 34-year-old man died allegedly following a clash between Ganesh idol buyers and sellers in the Pocharam IT Corridor police station limits triggering tension in the area.
The victim, identified as P Kiran from Chowdariguda in Ghatkesar mandal, had gone to purchase a Ganesh idol when an argument broke out between him and the idol sellers on Sunday. The dispute soon escalated into a physical altercation.
Police said Kiran died after allegedly being attacked by the sellers.
Following his death, Kiran’s relatives and friends staged a protest on the Warangal-Hyderabad National Highway, demanding stringent action against the five persons allegedly involved in the attack.
The protest briefly created a tense situation on the highway.
On receiving information, the poice reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
Case is under investigation.
