Hyderabad: Man dies after RTC bus hits scooter
The victim was identified as T Avinash, a private employee from Uppuguda. He was proceeding towards Shivaji Bridge on his scooter, when the mishap occurred.
Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man died after he was hit by a TSRTC bus at Afzalgunj in the city here on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as T Avinash, a private employee from Uppuguda. He was proceeding towards Shivaji Bridge on his scooter, when the mishap occurred.
According to the police, when he reached near Shivaji Bridge main road, the bus belonging to the Hyderabad -1 depot allegedly driven in a rash and negligent manner hit him from behind.
“He lost control and fell on the road and suffered grievous bleeding injuries on his head. He died on the spot,” police said.
The Afzalgunj police have booked a case of negligence causing death and are investigating. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
