Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cybercrime police on Tuesday caught a man on charges of harassing a former woman colleague on Instagram. The arrested person was G.Dileep Kumar (27), a private employee from Srinagar Colony in Nalgonda district.
Police said Dileep and the victim worked together for a private company in Hyderabad earlier. Dileep had proposed to her and she had rejected. Bearing a grudge, he stole her personal details including the login ID of her Instagram account. He later left the job and to defame her, he logged into her Instagram account with her ID and uploaded her personal pictures. He also posted obscene videos and abusive comments from the account.
Based on her complaint, the Cybercrime police booked a case and with the help of technical evidence, traced and nabbed the suspect.
