Hyderabad man injured by banned Chinese manja on Amberpet flyover

A man named Veeraiah sustained serious injuries after a banned Chinese manja string cut his neck while riding his two-wheeler on the Amberpet flyover in Hyderabad. Passers-by rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.

Hyderabad: A man was seriously injured after reportedly coming into contact with Chinese manja while travelling on the newly constructed Amberpet flyover on Friday.

As per reports, the incident occurred while the victim, identified as Veeraiah, was riding on a two-wheeler from Golnaka towards Ramanthapur on the flyover.

The sharp kite string reportedly struck his neck, causing a deep cut and severe bleeding. Alert passers-by came to his rescue and immediately shifted him to a private hospital nearby for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.

The incident has raised concerns over the continued menace of banned Chinese manja across city roads.
