Hyderabad MBA student ends life over harassment

A young man had been pursuing her for the past few months to get married

Hyderabad: Allegedly upset over harassment from a youth in the name of love, a young woman died by suicide at her house in Mallapur in Nacharam.

The 21-year-old MBA second year student from a private college was moving closely with a youth from the same college in the past. Later, they maintained distance from each other due to some unknown issues.

However, the young man had been pursuing her for the past few months to get married. Unable to take further harassment, the woman who was deeply upset, hanged herself from the ceiling fan at her home.

Based on the complaint of the victim’s family members, the Nacharam police booked a case and are investigating.
