Hyderabad: PD Act invoked against Dhoolpet’s ‘ganja don’ Anguri Bai

A total of 30 cases are registered against her at different police stations in the city for drug peddling

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district collector, Anudeep Durishetty invoked PD Act against notorious ganja peddler Anguri Bai of Dhoolpet on Tuesday. She was sent to Central Prison Chanchalguda.

The Excise and Prohibition had submitted a proposal to the Hyderabad Collector detailing about the activities and cases registered against Anguri Bai.

The department recommended the PD Act be invoked against Anguri Bai. A total of 30 cases are registered against her at different police stations in the city for drug peddling.

Basing on the request and the criminal history, the district collector invoked PD Act against the woman.
