Hyderabad: In an effort to promote rehabilitation and social reintegration, the Hyderabad police on Friday organised a counselling and welfare programme for rowdy sheeters and their family members at Kalapathar and Kamatipura police station limits.
The initiative was conducted under the supervision of DCP Rajendranagar Zone, Ch. Srinivas. During the session, the DCP interacted with the identified individuals and their families, stressing the need to adopt a disciplined, lawful and peaceful lifestyle.
He advised them to stay away from criminal activities permanently and encouraged them to rebuild their lives as responsible members of society.
