Hyderabad Police deploy 1,000 personnel for fish prasadam event
Hyderabad Police have deployed nearly 1,000 personnel and put extensive security measures in place for the annual fish prasadam distribution at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally. Thousands of devotees have already arrived, while medical teams and emergency services remain on standby.

Hyderabad: The City Police have made extensive security arrangements, deploying nearly 1,000 personnel for the annual fish prasadam distribution event to be held at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally starting Monday.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Sajjanar inspected the venue and reviewed the arrangements, including queue lines, distribution counters and a mini command-and-control centre on Monday.
With over 25,000 people from across the country already arriving for the event, the police have deployed adequate personnel to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the programme.
Officials said crime teams, She Teams and Task Force personnel would also be on duty to prevent thefts and other untoward incidents.
Meanwhile, authorities have arranged multilingual public announcements and deployed special medical teams along with five ambulances for emergency services.
They urged local residents to visit on Tuesday to avoid the heavy rush on the first day and assured the public that adequate fish prasadam is available for all devotees.
