Hyderabad: Police hold meeting with women hostel owners on security measures

Hostel owners told to ensure surveillance cameras are working, maintain proper record of visitors

Hyderabad: Police hold meeting with women hostel owners on security measures

Hyderabad: A meeting was organised by the SR Nagar police with the managements of women hostels to discuss and implement necessary security measures.

The meeting was chaired by DCP (West) SM Vijay Kumar and owners of 127 hostels attended the meeting.


During the meeting, the police asked the hostel owners to ensure the surveillance cameras are working and have backup of three months, proper illumination in the premises, have proper security mechanism including watchmen, maintain proper record of visitors and conduct background check of workers at the hostel.

The police asked the hostel owners to alert them about any possible activity in the premises.
