Hyderabad: In a significant administrative exercise, the State government has carried out a major reshuffle of IPS officers and inspectors in Hyderabad and its surrounding regions, aligning the police machinery with the recent reorganisation of police commissionerates and the creation of the new Future City Police Commissionerate.
As part of the recent reshuffle, several senior IPS officers were transferred and given new responsibilities across Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri, and Future City commissionerates. As per officials, the changes are aimed at strengthening leadership, improving coordination, and ensuring effective policing in rapidly expanding urban and semi-urban areas.

The transfers have come into effect with immediate effect, and officers have been directed to report to their new postings without delay.
