Hyderabad Police reshuffles 54 inspectors across city units
Hyderabad Police carried out a major reshuffle late Sunday, transferring and posting 54 inspectors across law and order, traffic, security and specialised units. Approved by the Police Establishment Board, the changes aim to improve efficiency and balance manpower across the city.

Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle, the Hyderabad Police top brass on Sunday night issued orders transferring and posting as many as 54 Inspectors of Police across various law and order, traffic, security and specialised units in the city.
The reshuffle was approved by the Police Establishment Board and will take effect immediately, the order said.
As per the orders, several Station House Officers (SHOs) have been moved between key police stations in the Old City, Central Zone and West Zone. Inspectors B Suresh Kumar and A. Ramesh were transferred from Mirchowk and Charminar police stations respectively, while K. Parashuram was posted as SHO Ramgopalpet. S. Ravi Kumar, earlier working as DI Osmania University, has been posted as SHO Mahankali.
Multiple inspectors were also posted to traffic police stations, including Jubilee Hills, SR Nagar, Gandhinagar, Mahankali and Malakpet Traffic Police Stations. Inspectors from units such as Secretariat Security, CCC, Task Force and Detective Inspector wings were shifted to new assignments to strengthen field-level policing.
In addition, five inspectors including D. Srinivasa Rao, C. Sudhakar Rao, C. Saidulu and others were posted to the Central Crime Station.
Police officials said the transfers were part of routine administrative measures aimed at improving efficiency, balancing manpower and enhancing policing across Hyderabad.
