Hyderabad Police seize 70 vehicles, foreign cigarettes in Begumpet cordon and search

Hyderabad: A cordon and search operation was conducted by the police in Begumpet on Tuesday night.
During the operation, police seized 70 vehicles after their owners failed to produce valid documents. Additionally, foreign cigarettes worth Rs 4 lakh, allegedly smuggled into the country, were also recovered.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) S Rashmi Perumal said that around 530 houses were searched in NBT Nagar, Patigadda, and Old Pattigadda. Police personnel also interacted with residents and gathered feedback on community issues.
