Hyderabad: Rowdy sheeter arrested in Saidabad

The caretaker of the Ujalashah graveyard alleged that Naseeruddin alias Chakku Naseer, a rowdy sheeter of Saidabad, was interfering into the dargah and graveyard matters.

Hyderabad: The Saidabad police on Wednesday arrested a rowdy sheeter on charges of threatening the caretaker of the Ujalashah graveyard.

A complaint was lodged by S.M.A Kashif Pasha Quadri, the caretaker of the affairs of the dargah and Ujalashah graveyard, alleging that one Mohd. Naseeruddin alias Chakku Naseer, a rowdy sheeter of Saidabad, was interfering into the dargah and graveyard matters.

“He also threatened to kill the complainant and demanded Rs 10,000 over the phone. He attempted to extort money,” police said.

A case was booked and Naseeruddin was arrested. He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
