Hyderabad: The second edition of the India Art Festival, which commenced at Kings Crown Convention, Attapur, here on Friday, drew hundreds of art lovers, collectors, and creators.

This year’s edition is showcasing an array of 25 leading art galleries and 250 artists from across India, collectively presenting over 3,000 artworks.

The festival served as a dynamic confluence of creative expression, from contemporary to traditional, reflecting the diversity of India’s art landscape.

Eminent artists Laxman Aelay, Jagadish Chinthala, Tudi Devender Reddy, former president, of Jubilee Hills International Club, writer-curator Prayag Shukla and art collector Anju Podar among others participated in the event.

Emphasizing the significance of the art festival, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy said the India Art Festival has been playing a crucial role in promoting the arts in Hyderabad over the past two years. Devender Reddy said an art festival of this magnitude enriches Hyderabad’s cultural ambiance.

Beyond the stunning visual art displays, the festival engaged visitors with fusion shows, including live music and live painting, offering a rare glimpse into the artistic process in real-time.

The festival will be held till April 6.
