Hyderabad: She Teams launches safety measures for women and children during Ganesh festivities
Hyderabad City Police’s She Teams have deployed special measures to protect women and children during Ganesh festivities. Officers in plain clothes, backed by CCTV surveillance, will monitor pandals and immersion routes, with strict action against harassment or misconduct.

Hyderabad: As the city is indulged in Ganesh festivities, the Hyderabad City Police’s She Teams have launched special measures to ensure the safety and security of devotees, particularly women and children, at pandals, immersion processions, and other crowded places.
Carrying the message “Celebrate with Devotion, Not with Wrong Intention,” the She Teams will maintain round-the-clock vigilance.
“Officers in mufti, supported by CCTV surveillance, will be stationed at key junctions and immersion routes to keep a close watch on gatherings”, said Dr Lavanya BJP, DCP, Women Safety Wing.
Police have warned of strict action against anyone found involved in eve-teasing, stalking, misbehavior, or harassment.
Issuing safety guidelines ahead of the festivities, She Teams urged citizens to remain cautious in public places, avoid oversharing personal information on social media, watch out for fake online profiles, and secure their digital accounts with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
