Hyderabad City Police’s She Teams have deployed special measures to protect women and children during Ganesh festivities. Officers in plain clothes, backed by CCTV surveillance, will monitor pandals and immersion routes, with strict action against harassment or misconduct.
The famous Tapeswaram laddu, weighing 30 tons, was donated to Khairatabad Ganesh in Hyderabad. Donated by Malle Babu of Sri Bhaktanjaneya Suruchi Foods, the laddu has been given annually since 2010, growing from 500 kg to 30 tons.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed Electricity department officials to examine the applications filed by youth associations and extend free power supply to the pandals during the ensuing Ganesh festivities.
The flower is called Venkaiah Puvvu in local parlance. In rural parts of most part of the north Telangana districts, this festival is also celebrated as Venkaiah Panduga which is inspired by the name of the flower.
