Hyderabad: The Detective Department police arrested two persons on charges of cheating people after assuring them of huge profits on investments in different businesses.
The arrested persons, Aahlad Nagappa and Swathi Nagappa, both directors of Adwaitha Global Business Private Limited, allegedly collected around Rs 7 crore from the public on the pretext of investment in gold trading and food procession and duped them. Based on a complaint, the police booked a case and arrested them.
They were produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
