Hyderabad: Woman allegedly attacked by mother-in-law over washing machine

A washing machine dispute allegedly escalated into an assault in Brahma Shankar Nagar, Madhuranagar. Police said Durgamma allegedly hit her daughter-in-law, Ratna Jyothi, on the head with a blunt object. Madhuranagar police registered a case following a complaint.

Hyderabad: A dispute over the use of a washing machine led to an alleged assault on a daughter-in-law by her mother-in-law in Brahma Shankar Nagar in Madhuranagar.

According to police, Ratna Jyothi had an argument with her mother-in-law, Durgamma, over the use of the washing machine. The argument reportedly escalated, following which Durgamma allegedly assaulted her daughter-in-law, hitting her on the head with a blunt object and causing serious injuries.

Following a complaint by the victim, Madhuranagar police registered a case and are investigating.
