Hyderabad: The Kukatpally police caught a youth for his involvement in robberies and chain snatching cases and recovered 10 gm of gold ornaments, a bike and a mobile phone from him.

The suspect K Sai Ram from Kukatpally targeted pedestrians or motorists in secluded residential colonies and robbed them. Recently, he snatched the gold chain of a woman at Vivekananda Nagar.

Police said investigation relied on leads from CCTV footage at the scene of offence, analysis of over 180 cameras along the escape route, and advanced technical tools.

Based on clues, Sai Ram was identified and nabbed. The stolen material was recovered.
