Hyderabad: A day, be it any day, just cannot move forward without that piping hot cup of chai in Hyderabad. While the city is known to keep alive its teahouse tradition, there are only a few cafés that have managed to preserve the authenticity of the original Hyderabadi chai.
Preserving the traditional flavours and introducing new ones as well, Café Niloufer is one such eatery that has been serving the city for over four decades now. To serve their clients better and to reach out to more tea lovers in the city, Café Niloufer has on Monday launched its new outlet at Himayathnagar, opposite Ratnadeep Supermarket, according to Café Niloufer chairman Babu Rao and Managing Director Shashank.
With imported machinery, modern production processes and new additions to the menu like different varieties of tea, cookies, cakes and other confectionery delights, Niloufer caters to over 20,000 plus customers per day. The café’s chefs are masters in the art of cooking and baking, according to the cafe’s regular connoisseurs.
Several dignitaries including Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, State Minority Affairs advisor AK Khan and Danam Nagendar MLA were among those who attended the inaugural function.
