Hyundai Motor India Limited Inaugurates 61st Public EV Charging Station in Telangana

Hyundai Motor India Limited has inaugurated its 61st public EV charging station, a 240kW ultra‑fast charger, at Shamirpet on the Hyderabad‑Karimnagar Highway. This marks the company’s fourth public EV charging facility in Telangana.

Hyderabad: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) on Friday inaugurated its 61st Public EV Charging Station,a 240kW Ultra-Fast Charging Station, at Minerva Blue Fox, Shamirpet, located on the Hyderabad-Karimnagar Highway. The charging station is now open to the public, further enhancing charging accessibility and convenience for electric vehicle users in the region.

The charging station was inaugurated by Amit Singh, Regional Sales Head (AP & TG), Hyundai Motor India Limited, along with the HMIL team and dealership representatives.

This is HMIL’s 4th Public EV Charging Station in Telangana. With this addition, Hyundai’s EV charging network across cities, highways, and dealerships has grown to 183 charging stations nationwide, supporting the increasing adoption of electric mobility and sustainable transportation.

The newly commissioned 240kW Ultra-Fast Charger is designed to deliver high-speed charging capabilities, significantly reducing charging time and enhancing the overall EV ownership experience.
