IBS Hyderabad sweeps global case writing competition
The competition aims at developing high-quality teaching case material featuring women in leadership positions as protagonists.

Hyderabad: Case authors of the ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad made a clean sweep in the annual global case writing competition – The Case for Women, 2024, by winning all the three awards.
The competition, conducted by Emerald Publishing, in partnership with The Case for Women, the Forté Foundation, and MBA Roundtable, aims at developing high-quality teaching case material featuring women in leadership positions as protagonists.
The case titled ‘Maggie Timoney of Heineken: Shattering the Glass Ceiling and Forging a New Path’ authored by Prof. Namratha V Prasad won the first prize in the competition while the second prize went to Prof. Syeda Maseeha Qumer for the case, ‘Mira Murati: Championing Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) while tackling its Misuse and Ethical Challenges.’
Prof. K B S Kumar and Prof. Indu Perepu won the third prize for their case study ‘Melissa Butler and ‘The Lip Bar’ – Making Beauty Inclusive.’
On the winning case studies, Lesley Symons, Founder of The Case for Women said, “This year’s cases highlight the diversity of women’s leadership talent. They contain fabulous initiatives and excellent examples. Congratulations to all the winners.”
