IIT-H marks World Bicycle Day, gets Fit India recognition as model campus

The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad celebrated World Bicycle Day with strong participation from students, faculty and residents. The institute was recognised by the Fit India Movement as a model campus under its vehicle-free initiative.

Sangareddy: The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) celebrated World Bicycle Day with participation from over 200 students, faculty members, staff and other campus residents.

The institute has received national recognition from the Fit India Movement as a model campus under the FIT India vehicle-free campus initiative.

The recognition was formally conferred by FIT India in Hyderabad on June 7, acknowledging the commitment of IITH to reducing vehicular dependence and fostering a culture of fitness and environmental responsibility.
