Sangareddy: The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) hosted the fourth International Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Mathematics (RAAM-2026) from July 6 to 8, bringing together leading mathematicians, researchers, academicians, and young scholars from across the globe to discuss emerging developments in applied mathematics and its transformative role in science, engineering, healthcare, artificial intelligence, and technology.
Organised by the Department of Mathematics at the IITH campus in Kandi, the three-day international conference witnessed an overwhelming global response, receiving more than 700 research paper submissions from over 190 institutions across 13 countries spanning four continents.
RAAM-2026 serves as a premier international platform for presenting cutting-edge research across diverse areas of applied mathematics, including mathematical modelling, computational mathematics, optimisation, medical imaging, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and interdisciplinary applications that address contemporary scientific and societal challenges. The conference also provided an opportunity for young researchers to interact with globally renowned experts, fostering collaborations that transcend institutional and geographical boundaries.
