IIT-Hyderabad to host Vishwakarma awards 2024

Sangareddy: iTIC Incubator at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) and Maker Bhavan Foundation (MBF) are hosting the Vishwakarma Awards 2024 to recognise and support student innovators across India. Focused on water & sanitation, green technology, and smart mobility, the awards encourage young minds to develop solutions that address real-world challenges and make a meaningful impact on society.

A special boot camp is being held from December 8 to 20 to help finalists refine their ideas through workshops on 3D modeling, design thinking, and prototype building. This hands-on approach ensures students gain the skills and confidence needed to transform their concepts into real solutions. The event will culminate in a grand finale on December 21 and 22
Speaking about the Vishwakarma Awards 2024, Director of IIT-H Prof BS Murty said IIT-H they were committed to fostering innovation that not only addresses global challenges but also empowers the next generation of innovators. The event is free to attend with prior registration.
