Hyderabad: Mumbai-based cybersecurity solutions company Inspira Enterprise is setting up a development centre in Hyderabad and plans to commence operations by the end of the current fiscal.
This will act as both a security operations centre (SoC) and a data analytics unit catering to the southern market. The company currently operates such a centre in Navi Mumbai. Through the SoCs, the company monitors its customer’s assets and premises remotely.
Vishal Jain, director, Inspira Enterprise, told Telangana Today, “The way the Telangana government has encouraged the industry to set up facilities, we find Hyderabad as a promising location. We are in the process of engaging a consultant to create the centre in Hyderabad. We will start with 100 employees initially, and gradually ramp up to have a 1,000-member base here.”
“Hyderabad has been one of our strongest markets in the country. We have done a lot of business in the city both in the public and private sector. We are playing a key role in a major infrastructure project to help in the digital transformation and improve overall user experience. We also have several pharmaceutical sector clients in the city,” added Jain.
Expanding presence
Over the last 12 years, globally, Inspira has expanded business across Singapore, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kenya, Ethiopia and the USA, with a global employee base of over 750. It serves companies across banking, healthcare, ecommerce, FMCG, manufacturing, and retail sectors.
The company has delivered SoC for next-gen security products, and offers new-age technologies such as cloud and big data backed by advanced analytics. The company has been offering basic SoC services over the last five years and is now focusing on next-gen SoC for industry to meet the advanced needs.
Jain said, “We have a SoC in Navi Mumbai that we set up two years ago and are in the process of establishing new SoCs in New Delhi, Middle East and the US. We are investing heavily in building tools, developing codes and platforms to help our customers better. The more analytics we create, the more we can automate our clients’ operations. We have also deployed a captive SoC for ONGC at its campus and provided them with all the necessary tools. This model is picking up fast.”
Inspira has also helped banks reshape IT, establish SoCs and digital channels, thus improve their overall risk management and operational efficiencies, and consequently help them in their digital transformation. Data localisation is also leading to new avenues globally, he added.
