Hyderabad: Food enthusiasts in the city can look forward to two distinct culinary experiences at ITC Kohenur, with the hotel launching “A Feast of Bohra Traditions” from today while continuing its “Flavours of the South” weekend brunch at Golconda Pavilion.

The Bohra food festival, which begins on Friday, will run until August 12, offering guests an opportunity to savour the rich culinary traditions of the Dawoodi Bohra community. The festival will be available for dinner from 7 pm to 11 pm.

Guests can choose between an elaborate buffet and the traditional Bohra thaal dining experience, featuring authentic dishes such as Dal Chawal Palidu, Bohra Mutton Biryani, Khichro, Sheer Khurma and other regional specialties that reflect the community’s heritage of shared dining and hospitality.

Priced at ₹2,450 plus taxes per person, the festival aims to showcase the distinctive flavours and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

In addition to the Bohra festival, ITC Kohenur is also hosting “Flavours of the South”, a curated Saturday brunch buffet celebrating the diverse cuisines of southern India.

Served every Saturday from 1 pm to 3.30 pm at Golconda Pavilion, the brunch features heirloom recipes, regional delicacies and classic South Indian dishes prepared with a contemporary touch.

Priced at ₹2,499 plus taxes per person, the brunch is designed to offer guests a leisurely weekend dining experience while highlighting the rich culinary heritage of the southern states.

Through these two curated dining experiences, ITC Kohenur aims to celebrate India’s regional culinary diversity by bringing together authentic recipes, traditional cooking techniques and signature flavours under one roof.
