Jagtial: SP advises students not to spoil lives by addicting to bad habits
Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar advised the medical students of government medical college not to spoil their lives by getting addicted to bad habits such as ragging as well as ganja and drugs consumption during an anti-ragging awareness programme here on Friday.

Advising the medical students to stay away from bad habits and bring good name to district government medical college by emerging as good doctors.
The SP participated in an anti-ragging awareness programme held in the medical college here on Friday. Advising college managements to observe the attitude of students, SP wanted managements to control ragging in the initial stage by establishing anti-ragging committees. It was not a habit of good students to create troubles for other students. Without showing discrimination in the name of seniors and juniors, all the students should undergo education with brotherhood and reach higher positions in life.
Informing that ragging a crime, he warned to take legal action if anybody was involved in ragging. He advised the students to approach the police by dialing 100 if they were ragged by any other students. Talking about drug consumption, Ashok Kumar advised the students not to spoil their lives by being addicted to ganja and drugs and diminish parents’ hopes put on them.
Students should come forward and solve their problems, he said and informed to take legal action if women and students lodged complaints with the SHE team. Complaints details would not be disclosed, he assured.
