Hyderabad: Apart from the youth in Andhra Pradesh, political party leaders too have appreciated Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s announcement to fill over 91,000 government jobs.
Welcoming the Chief Minister’s decision, former Minister JC Diwakar Reddy said it was a historic announcement. “Leave alone State Governments, I don’t think even the Central government would have take such a step in one go,” he said during an informal chat with media persons on the Assembly premises here on Wednesday.
Setting aside political impact on the announcement, he said youth would benefit from the Chief Minister’s decision. “One should congratulate and appreciate the Chief Minister for the announcement,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sangareddy MLA T Jagga Reddy also welcomed the Chief Minister’s decision and said it augurs well for the youth in the State.
Though there are more vacancies, announcing 91,000 government jobs is no small task, he said. “Personally, I welcome and appreciate the Chief Minister’s decision,” Jagga Reddy said, appealing that it should not be considered as a politically motivated decision.
