Hyderabad: The Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSNPDCL) on Friday asked people not to believe in a fake job notification that was circulated on various social media platforms.
TSNPDCL Joint Secretary K Ramesh said the TSNPDCL had not issued any job notification, and if the power utility issues a notification, it will be uploaded on its website www.tsnpdcl.in.
Ramesh said unidentified persons were circulating fake job notifications to create confusion among people and added that the TSNPDCL would take necessary action against those responsible. Aspirants should cross-check with the TSNPDCL’s website if anyone receives a job notification through social media in future, he said.
For the last few days, the fake notification inviting applications for over 107 posts in TSNPDCL has been circulating on social media. TSNPDCL officials are also flooded with numerous calls from aspirants enquiring about the authenticity of the notification.
Despite making it clear that the TSNPDCL had not issued any notification, many people continued to call up officials, prompting them to issue a clarification.
