Kamareddy: Villagers on Tuesday found the body of Degavat Aravind who was washed away in the Nizamsagar canal at Sagem village outskirts on Monday. The police and the villagers had been searching for the boy for the past 24 hours in the canal waters.
On Monday, Aravind and and his friend Kiran slipped into Nizamsagar canal while they were playing on the canal banks. Villagers rescued Kiran but could not find Aravind. On Tuesday afternoon, they found his body on the outskirts of Sangem village. Police registered a case and investigations are on.
