Karimnagar Municipal Corporation plans to introduce Integrated Manhole Cleaning Robotic machine

Commissioner examined the trail run of an integrated manhole cleaning robotic carried out at the housing board colony here on Friday. Interacting with officials, she enquired about the capacity and advanced future of the machine.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that they have decided to introduce robotic machines to strengthen the sanitation system besides the safety of the sanitation workers. It would help to put an end to manual scavenging system as well as developing localities cleanly.

Informing that they were planning to develop sanitation workers as skilled labourers, she said that it was possible to make Karimnagar as manual scavenger free town if the robotic technology was utilized perfectly.
