BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings on Sant Sevalal Maharaj’s birth anniversary, praising his teachings on social harmony and recalling welfare initiatives undertaken for the development and empowerment of the Banjara community.

Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings on the birth anniversary of Sant Sri Sevalal Maharaj, revered as the spiritual guru of the Banjara community. He paid tributes to Sant Sevalal Maharaj for his services and sacrifices towards the social and spiritual unity of Banjara tribal communities.
In a statement, Chandrashekhar Rao stated that the saint’s teachings promoted religious harmony, social reform and equality, particularly for women and oppressed sections. He said the ideals upheld by Sant Sevalal Maharaj continue to guide future generations and remain relevant in the pursuit of social justice and community empowerment.
Recalling his tenure in office, the former Chief Minister stated that the BRS government had implemented several programmes over ten years for the development and welfare of the Banjara community, with a focus on protecting their self-respect and cultural identity.
