BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings on Sant Sevalal Maharaj’s birth anniversary, praising his teachings on social harmony and recalling welfare initiatives undertaken for the development and empowerment of the Banjara community.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has consented to erect a statue of Sant Sevalal Maharaj, esteemed as a spiritual guide and advocate of social change by the Banjara community, in Hyderabad.
Ramesh Karthik, who used to work as a steward in catering events to earn some money to publish his books, has been writing on the culture and lifestyle of Banjara communities, adding a dash of fiction.
He cited that it was releasing funds to observe the birth anniversary of Sant Sevalal as a State festival and for providing bullocks and electric motors to eligible tribals under ‘Giri Vikasam’
