KCR, KTR and Harish Rao mourn passing of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham

Hyderabad: BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressed profound grief over the demise of veteran politician, former Andhra Pradesh Minister and Kapu movement leader Mudragada Padmanabham on Tuesday. He termed Padmanabham’s demise an irreparable loss to social movements and Telugu politics.
In a condolence message, Chandrashekhar Rao hailed Mudragada Padmanabham as a leader who remained steadfast in the ideology he believed in and waged an uncompromising struggle throughout his public life to secure the constitutional rights of the Kapu community and allied communities. He recalled Mudragada’s distinguished service as a legislator and Minister, praising his contribution to public life and social justice. He extended condolences to the bereaved family and his followers and prayed for the departed soul.
BRS working president KT Rama Rao also expressed shock over Mudragada Padmanabham’s demise and prayed for the departed leader. Calling him a prominent leader who dedicated his political career to championing the rights of the Kapu community, he said Mudragada’s passing was a major loss to the politics of both the Telugu States as well as social movements. He extended condolences to the family and followers.
BRS Legislature Party deputy leader T Harish Rao said Mudragada Padmanabham had left an indelible mark on public life through his relentless fight for the rights of the Kapu community. He said the veteran leader’s contribution as a legislator and Minister would be remembered for years to come and extended condolences to his family and followers.
Several BRS leaders, including BRS Parliamentary Party leader Vaddiraju Ravichandra, former Minister S Niranjan Reddy and others, also condoled the demise of the Kapu leader.
