KCR meets BRS leaders, discusses public issues

Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is undergoing routine medical check-up at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, held a meeting with party leaders who called on him on Friday. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, with general weakness and a mild fever.
Several BRS leaders and visitors came to meet the former Chief Minister at the hospital and inquired about his health. Though admitted for a general health check-up, he discussed pressing issues concerning the State, including the availability of urea to farmers, agricultural and irrigation concerns, and the prevailing political climate.
Party sources said Chandrashekhar Rao took feedback from senior leaders on ground-level responses from cadres and public sentiment. The leaders, who had interacted with party activists across districts, reportedly briefed him on the issues being faced by farmers and the delay in fertilizer supply.
Doctors have informed that his blood sugar and sodium levels are improving.
