Khammam: Two fruit vendors killed as speeding truck hits them in Sathupally mandal
Two fruit vendors were killed after a speeding truck hit them at Narayanapuram village in Sathupally mandal on Thursday. The victims were travelling towards Sathupally after purchasing guavas when the truck struck them near the Anjaneya Swamy temple.
Khammam: A speeding truck crushed two fruit sellers to death at Narayanapuram village in Sathupally mandal in the district on Thursday.
Sali Nageswara Rao (58) of Rajarla in Sathupally mandal and Panem Suloman (57) of Mandalapdu in Penuballi mandal used to sell fruits in Sathupally town. After buying guava fruits at Gurupatlagudem, they were going towards Sathupally on Thursday.
The truck coming in the opposite direction hit them on a turning on the road near Anjaneya Swamy temple. Both died on the spot in the incident. The police shifted the bodies to the hospital for postmortem and registered a case in connection with the incident.
