The tiny tots of Gitanjali Devshala roared in their classrooms to celebrate International Tiger’s Day on July 29. While the teachers discussed and shared the importance of the tigers in our environment and their declining numbers across the world and in India, the little cubs took to the stage by dressing up like one. They wore tiger masks, painted whiskers, drew the biggest cat and solved the puzzles of the tiger in their books. Teachers presented videos on fun facts about tigers and encouraged the children to share information and tidbits about the National Animal of India with their classmates.
