Hyderabad: Kisan Congress national vice-president M Kodanda Reddy on Friday slammed Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his remarks that comprehensive land records survey was successful and that corruption was wiped out in the revenue department.
“The Chief Minister is making such claims without assessing the ground situation, relying only on feedback given by the officials,” the former MLA said in a statement here.
The comprehensive land records survey was launched in December, 2017 and a few passbooks were issued to the farmers as precursor to the 2018 elections, he said, adding that it was now two years since TRS came to power and many farmers were yet to get the new passbooks. “Many farmers are still running around Tahsildar offices. Congress brought these issues to the notice of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao but they are yet to be addressed,” Kodanda Reddy said.
